Shot store detective during an attempted robbery
A 40-year-old man has been sentenced to five years in prison for, among other things, aggravated attempted robbery.
During the attempted robbery, the 40-year-old committed serious violence against a store detective and endangered another person’s life or mobility in front of a supermarket on Amager on January 30 last year.
The store detective tried to detain the 40-year-old man, who brought out a shotgun and shot the detective in the leg. Another shot hit a citizen who was scurrying in the window of his apartment opposite the supermarket.
The verdict was handed down Wednesday in Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret).
