The government is increasing the Ukraine Fund by several billion Danish kroner.
According to dr.dk, the government will increase its contribution to the Ukraine Fund by 7.5 billion Danish kroner this year.
Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told DR that it is urgent as the Ukrainians need our weapons and support. Furthermore, she mentioned that an additional 10.4 billion Danish kroner will be allocated to the Ukraine Fund next year.
Mette Frederiksen added that there is no indication that next year will be a year of peace, which is why they are already allocating over ten billion in 2024. The purpose of the Ukraine Fund is to support Ukraine both militarily and with reconstruction efforts.
