
Police handed out fines when cyclists ran a red light
Many fines were handed out when the Copenhagen Police conducted a traffic operation in Nyhavn on Monday.
The police report that 41 cyclists were fined for running a red light, and four drivers received penalty points on their driver’s licenses for the same offense.
In addition, four cyclists were charged with riding on the sidewalk, and two cyclists were fined for using their mobile phones while cycling.
