Product Recall: Orkla Foods Withdraws Spaghetti Bolognese and Ketchup from Shelves
The company Orkla Foods Danmark is recalling two products from its assortment.
One product is Spaghetti Bolognese 560g in a can. This is happening because a production error has led to some cans having the wrong label. The cans should have been labeled as Spaghetti Napoli. The mislabeled cans contain mustard, which is an allergen that is not listed on the label. Therefore, there may be a risk of an allergic reaction when consuming the product.
The can has a best-before date of 31.05.27.
The second product is 1000g Beauvais Tomato Ketchup, which is being recalled due to a potential risk of sour taste resulting from the development of lactic acid bacteria. A production error with our subcontractor could potentially lead to a small risk of lactic acid bacteria forming in the product. Lactic acid bacteria can affect the consistency and give the tomato ketchup a sour taste.
The ketchup has a best-before date of 02.07.2025.
The affected products have been sold to supermarkets across the country, and the stores that received the products have been informed.
Orkla Food urges consumers to either dispose of the products or return them to the store where they were purchased.
