Turkish Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Rasmus Paludan Over Quran Burning Incident
A Turkish court has issued an arrest warrant for Rasmus Paludan.
This is reported by the news agency Anadolu.
It is the Turkish Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office that requested the court to issue the arrest warrant as part of their investigation into Paludan’s Quran burning in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm on January 21st this year.
The incident sparked anger and condemnation from the Turkish side and has had an impact on Sweden not yet being admitted to the NATO defense alliance.
