Police ahead of the Vingegaard celebration: plan ahead if you need to pass through the city
Copenhagen Police issues a call ahead of Wednesday’s celebration of Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard in Copenhagen.
The police anticipate that there will be a large crowd gathered in front of Copenhagen City Hall as Vingegaard is celebrated at the City Hall and takes to the balcony for acknowledgment.
“Therefore, we urge everyone to plan accordingly if they need to travel through the city on Wednesday,” the police write on Twitter and advise that, for safety reasons, people should stay on the sidewalks if they want to come out and wave to Vingegaard as he drives from Copenhagen Airport to City Hall Square.
