
Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs: Denmark should immediately prevent the burning of the Quran
Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, expressed in a telephone conversation on Saturday with his Danish counterpart, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, that Denmark should immediately prevent further burnings of the Quran.
This was reported by Reuters.com.
During the conversation, Fidan condemned the Quran burnings and stated that it is unacceptable to allow such actions under the guise of freedom of speech.
The call comes after the recent actions of Quran burnings in Copenhagen in the past few days.
