
Drug Smuggler Arrested at Copenhagen Airport
A 44-year-old Brazilian citizen was arrested at Copenhagen Airport on Friday night and charged with drug smuggling.
This was confirmed by the prosecution at the Copenhagen Police.
The arrest occurred when customs officers found a larger quantity of bottles containing the psychoactive substance ayahuasca during the inspection of his luggage.
The 44-year-old man was brought before a pretrial hearing on Friday. The court decided to remand him in custody for 26 days.
