300 Porters at Rigshospitalet Strike Over Poor Working Conditions
Approximately 300 porters at Rigshospitalet have gone on strike.
This is reported by TV2 Kosmopol.
An emergency contingency plan has been put in place and has been operational since the strike began on Wednesday morning.
The reason for the strike can be traced back to long-standing dissatisfaction with deteriorating working conditions, including issues with the work schedule, high rates of sick leave leading to overtime, and some porters experiencing a decrease in pay.
The strike will last until Thursday morning.
