Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide in Frederiksberg Apartment

On Tuesday evening around 10:45 PM, the police were called to an apartment in Frederiksberg, where upon arrival, they found a 26-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both severely injured from stab wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead at 11:15 PM.

The police have been present at the apartment throughout the evening and into Wednesday morning.

The two deceased individuals had a prior relationship, and the Copenhagen Police are working to investigate what happened in the apartment.

-“We have completed our crime scene investigation, and our leading hypothesis is that the 29-year-old man killed the 26-year-old woman, after which he took his own life,” says Vice Police Inspector Brian Belling, who leads the Department of Personal Crimes at the Copenhagen Police.

The relatives have been notified and have been offered psychological crisis assistance, according to the Copenhagen Police.
