Police visit school routes
In the upcoming week, traffic officers from the Copenhagen Police will be visiting the school routes around the Copenhagen Police District.
The focus of these visits is to talk with the pupils about what they can do to prevent getting injured on their way to or from school.
In this context, the police also offer a good piece of advice to parents: Ensure that their children’s bicycle lights are working and that they have reflectors on their clothing or school bags so that other road users can spot them in the dark.
The police will also assist the school patrols that ensure pupils safely cross the roads.
