Copenhagen Faces Challenges as Winter Weather Impacts Bike Path Conditions
In some areas of Copenhagen, the bike paths are still white and icy to ride on.
The Municipality of Copenhagen is aware of challenges with the quality of clearing and salting on certain stretches. Subsequently, low temperatures have caused issues where meltwater on the bike paths has frozen, making it even more difficult to clear the affected areas.
The municipality expects to commence salting and clearing further in the coming hours and apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused. At the same time, people are encouraged to be vigilant and drive according to the conditions.
