Police Seek 30-Year-Old Polish Citizen in Connection with Hotel Murder
Western Copenhagen Police are seeking a 30-year-old Polish citizen suspected of being involved in the murder of a 29-year-old Polish man on January 5 this year.
The individual sought is named Michal Tomasz Kapicki.
He is described as approximately 187 cm tall with an average build.
“If anyone sees Michal Tomasz Kapicki, please contact the nearest police station. I would also like to urge Michal to turn himself in,” said Police Commissioner Brian Hansen, head of the investigation at Western Copenhagen Police.
Police suspect that Michal Tomasz Kapicki may have left Denmark after the murder and therefore issued an international arrest warrant for him on January 12 for extradition and prosecution in Denmark.
On February 14, a 22-year-old man, also a suspect in the case, was remanded in custody by the Glostrup Court for four weeks behind closed doors.
In addition to requesting the assistance of police in Sweden, Germany, and Poland to locate Michal Tomasz Kapicki, Western Copenhagen Police are reluctant to release details as the murder is still under investigation.
Anyone with information about the individual sought can contact Western Copenhagen Police around the clock at 4386 1448 or the nearest police station at 114.
