Large drug-filled bags washed ashore in Denmark
Saturday and Sunday, large bags of narcotics were washed ashore at Sjællands Odde and the coast of Sejrø Bay on the northwestern coast of Zealand.
According to the police, the bags contain cocaine.
The first bags of cocaine were found Saturday afternoon by beachgoers in the area near Gniben at Sjællands Odde. The police were called and managed to secure the bags. On Sunday, a few more bags and loose packages of cocaine were found along the coast in Sejrø Bay and on the island of Sejerø. Here too, the police secured the narcotics.
The police are now investigating the case and will try to determine the origin of the drugs.
