Copenhagen Municipality’s Car-Free Recycling Solution: Making Spring Cleaning Accessible to All
Spring is upon us and for many, it’s an excuse to clean out their closets and drive things to the recycling center. But what if you don’t have a car? – Copenhagen Municipality has a solution for that.
Getting rid of your things after the spring cleaning doesn’t have to be difficult. There are 5 recycling centers – also called recycling sites – and 12 neighborhood recycling centers in Copenhagen, and at 15 of these locations, you can borrow a cargo bike or a handcart.
And when you take your things to the recycling center, you can drop them off in the center’s exchange room, so others can benefit from them.
You can read more about recycling in Copenhagen on the municipality’s website.
