Lars Løkke Condemns Iranian Attacks on Israel
The Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen condemns the Iranian attack on Israel on Sunday night. On the social media platform X, he writes:
“Denmark strongly condemns Iran’s announced attack on Israel. I urge everyone to show restraint and deescalate the situation. Iran’s destabilising role in the Middle East is unacceptable – and so is this attack. Denmark will continue to work to stabilise the region with our allies.”
Iran announced late Saturday night that the country has sent dozens of drones towards Israel.
The Danish Foreign Ministry’s Citizen Services (Borgerservice) had issued a warning to Danes in the area ahead of the attack about an increased risk of military escalation and attacks on Israel and Israeli interests in the Middle East region.”
