Recalling popular chocolates
The company Mondelēz International is now recalling batches of two popular chocolates.
These include certain batches of Marabou Milk Chocolate (200g) and Marabou Milk Chocolate with Oreo (185g).
The reason is that they may contain almond, wheat, and various nuts, which are not described in the product’s allergy profile.
The product is labeled “may contain nuts and/or wheat,” but could potentially pose a health risk to individuals with these specific allergies. The recall is therefore a safety measure, as the safety of our consumers and the quality of our products are of the highest priority.
The company asks consumers who have an allergy and have purchased Marabou products with the specified expiration date and batch number to return the product to the store where they purchased it for a refund.
