
Explosion at a jewelry store in Valby
An explosion has occurred at the jewelry store Himmalaya Diamonds on Toftegårds Allé in Valby, Copenhagen.
This is reported by Netavisen Sjælland, which also has images from the scene.
The police received a report on Saturday morning that an explosion had taken place, likely occurring overnight leading into Saturday.
A window in the entrance door to the jewelry store has been damaged, and a small hole was created in the entrance area during the explosion. Fragments were propelled through the air, causing damage not only to the entrance area but also to the building across the street. There, a shop had its store windows destroyed, and fragments hit the walls and windows up to the height of the third floor.
