26-year-old woman abducted – two young men arrested

Two young men have been remanded in custody in a case involving abduction and confinement of a 26-year-old woman.

Copenhagen Police received a report on Saturday concerning the abduction and confinement of the woman in connection with drug purchases. The police conducted an intensive investigation over the weekend, and early Sunday morning, a 22-year-old man was arrested and remanded in custody for an initial period of 25 days.

On Sunday evening, the police investigation led to the 26-year-old woman being found in Farum. Also present was a 16-year-old young man who was arrested and charged with unlawful abduction and confinement

The 16-year-old was brought before a remand hearing in Copenhagen City Court on Monday. He was remanded in custody for an initial period of 24 days.
