Resident rescued during fire at nursing home
The Capital Region’s Emergency Management Agency responded Monday night to a minor fire at a nursing home on Sankt Nikolai Vej in Frederiksberg.
The agency received the report of the fire at 7:40 p.m.
There was a fire in a room, and before the emergency services arrived, the staff had rescued the resident.
The resident was examined by a doctor on-site.
The emergency services ventilated the room and hallway to clear smoke, and conducted an inspection to ensure there were no smoldering embers.
