Man attacked by dogs
A 42-year-old man was attacked and bitten by two dogs on Sunday evening shortly after 6:30 p.m.
The 42-year-old was walking along Silkeborgvej in Harlev near Aarhus and noticed two dogs that had come out of a property and started following him. Suddenly, the dogs attacked the man.
Immediately after, one of the two dogs attacked another passing dog owned by a 66-year-old man. The 66-year-old’s dog was bitten a few times but, according to the police, did not seem to be seriously injured.
The 42-year-old man sustained some injuries that required treatment but, according to the police, he also did not seem to be seriously hurt.
Witnesses told the police that an unknown man arrived at the scene shortly after the attack in a car and took the dogs back to a nearby property, where they were secured behind a fence. This was done before the police arrived at the scene.
An emergency service was called in to pick up the two dogs, who are now at a kennel, while the police investigate the case further to establish final ownership and determine what should happen next with the two dogs.
