Man arrested: Shared nude scenes from Danish movies on the internet

A 39-year-old man from Valby was arrested and charged with copyright infringement on Tuesday.

The man is suspected of being behind extensive sharing of video clips featuring nude scenes from Danish movies and series on various pornographic websites and the social media site Reddit.

He was released after being questioned but remains charged in the case.

Police commissioner in the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK) Anders-Emil Kelbæk says:

“I am pleased that we have been able to make an arrest in this case. Both actors and rights holders have rightfully felt violated when nude scenes have suddenly been shared in a completely different context than intended.”
