Mia Nyegaard is no longer the leading candidate for her party
The Danish Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre) in Copenhagen must find a new leading candidate for the municipal election next year.
Sunday, the Culture and Leisure Mayor Mia Nyegaard lost her candidacy in a vote at an extraordinary annual meeting. The vote took place after the four other radical members of the Copenhagen City Council lost confidence in Mia Nyegaard.
The party is expected to find a new leading candidate by January.
