
Major roof fire in Vesterbro
The Capital Region’s Emergency Services and the police are present at a fire on Gasværksvej in Vesterbro, Copenhagen on Wednesday evening.
According to the Capital Region’s Emergency Services, it is a significant roof fire that extends across two sections of the building.
The police have cordoned off the area around the fire.
The fire department received the report of the fire at 6:42 pm and arrived shortly after at the scene.
On the social media platform X, the police warn that the smoke may be toxic and recommend residents in the area to close doors and windows and to vacate outdoor areas where there is smoke.
