Warning of heavy rain
The Danish Meteorological Institute, DMI, has issued a category 1 warning – severe weather – for large parts of the country.
DMI expects heavy rain between 30 and 50 mm during the warning period, which is valid from Tuesday at 7:00 PM to Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
Central and southern Jutland as well as Fyn appear to be the most affected. Simultaneously with the rain, there will be strong winds from the southwest, transitioning to gusts locally reaching near gale or storm force.
For large parts of Zealand, as well as parts of Lolland and Bornholm, a risk warning has been issued for heavy rain from Tuesday at 10:00 PM to Wednesday at 10:00 PM.
