Recall of luxury medister sausage

The company Hilton Foods Denmark A/S is recalling medister sausage on Friday after finding salmonella.

It involves “Luxusmedister”, 600 grams with packaging date 26.12.2024 and last use-by date: 02.01.2025. With EAN number: 5700384101038

The medister sausage has been sold in Kvickly, Brugsen, and SuperBrurgsen stores nationwide, as well as in Fakta Germany and FK Tyørovi in the Faroe Islands.

According to the company, there is a risk of Salmonella infection. Symptoms of Salmonella infection include diarrhea, stomach pain, fever, headache, and possibly nausea and vomiting. The illness can last from a few days to several weeks.

The company advises that the product should be discarded or returned to the store where it was purchased.
