Prime Minister: Tragic news from Munich
Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is now commenting on the events in Munich, where a car drove into a crowd of people, injuring several individuals.
“Tragic news from Munich today. My heartfelt support to the victims and their families,” writes the Prime Minister on the social media platform X. And she adds:
“Denmark stands in solidarity with the people of Munich and all of Germany.”
Approximately 1500 people were gathered for a demonstration called by the labor union Verdi when a car drove into the crowd. At least 30 individuals, including children, have been injured.
The police have arrested the suspected perpetrator.
