Mia Wagner served as minister for two weeks, but for the past week, she has been on sick leave following a health incident where she fainted at her home. According to the Prime Minister’s office, health reasons are the cause of Mia Wagner stepping down as minister.
During Mia Wagner’s illness, Minister of Economic Affairs Stephanie Lose (V) has been acting as Minister for Digitalization and Equality.
In the future, Marie Bjerre (V) will take on the role of Minister for Digitalization and Equality. She held this position before the new leader of Venstre, Troels Lund Poulsen, replaced her with Mia Wagner shortly after assuming the party leadership.
