Euro 2024: Denmark Secure Spot in Round of 16
The Danish national football team has advanced after playing to a 0-0 draw in their last group stage match against Serbia.
It was the Danes who dominated the first half, but despite several great chances, they were unable to score. The Serbians did not even get into position for chances.
After halftime, the Serbians started to get their game going, and especially in the last fifteen minutes, Denmark was heavily pressured and had to fight hard to hold off the Serbians.
They managed to keep the Danish goal clear, and although Denmark did not score themselves, it was enough for Denmark to finish in second place in Group C behind England in first place and Slovenia in third place.
As a result, Denmark will face Germany on Saturday in the Round of 16.
