
Danes Reach Quarterfinals at the Olympics
Badminton players Sara Thygesen and Maiken Fruergaard surprisingly made it to the Olympic quarterfinals on Monday when they faced the Thais Kititharakul and Prajongjai.
They survived two match points in the second set and a total of three match points in the third set before winning on their own match point.
The Danes lost the first set with a score of 20-22, then won the second set with 23-21, and the third set with 24-22.
