Look Up and See a Supermoon
Tonight, there is a chance to see a so-called “Supermoon.”
This is reported by dr.dk.
A Supermoon occurs when a full moon coincides with the time when the moon is closest to Earth. This can make the moon appear up to 14% larger than when it is farthest from Earth. At the same time, the moon shines up to 25% brighter.
Fortunately, it also appears that the weather is favorable for those who would like to witness the phenomenon, so there should be good chances to experience the supermoon.
