An employee at a school in Ringsted has been arrested for filming underage students in the school’s changing rooms with a hidden camera.

The arrest occurred after the police received a report about the incident from the school in question on Thursday.

According to the police, the employee has admitted to being responsible for the hidden recordings. The technical equipment has now been secured and will be further examined.

The employee has been charged with invasion of privacy for now.

“We are in the early stages of the investigation, and we do not yet have a full understanding of how many children have been filmed. But based on what we know at the moment, it involves students in the 3rd and 5th grades,” says Vice Police Inspector Lars Krogsgaard.

The school’s parents have been informed of the incident on Thursday.
