Case about Ban on Bandidos Begins Now
Today the case about the dissolution of Bandidos MC begins.
The group, which describes itself as “bikers” but is referred to by the police and the media as “rockers,” has been administratively banned since last May.
The case against Bandidos MC has been raised under Article 78, paragraph 2 of the Constitution, which states that “Associations that operate by or seek to achieve their goals through violence, incitement of violence, or similar criminal influence on dissenting opinions, shall be dissolved by judgment.”
The case is being heard in the Court of Helsingør, with 38 court days set aside for the trial. It is expected that a judgment will be reached in the case by August.
