Múte B. Egede: We don’t want to be Americans or Danes – we want to be Greenlanders

Múte B. Egede acknowledged that Greenland, including the Thule Base, is important for U.S. security and called for discussions on defense in the Arctic. He also stated that Greenland is a part of NATO and wants to remain so in the future.
Regarding Greenland’s mineral resources, he mentioned that Greenland has much to offer and expressed the need for investments from both the USA and the EU.
