Dead man found in sewer

Read Time:1 Minute, 4 Second

A dead man was found on Friday in a sewer in the area around Edelhoffvej in Harlev.

This was reported by East Jutland Police, who cannot rule out the possibility of a crime being involved.

The discovery was made in connection with work in the sewer, and the police received the report at 4.30 pm.

According to the police, the deceased has likely been there for some time.

Since then, the police have been working intensively at the scene, conducting interviews and investigations in the area.

“The location makes the work more difficult, and we will need a lot of time for the investigations out there. In addition, it will take time to identify the person. Right now, we can’t say what happened, when it happened, and who the deceased person is. We consider the circumstances suspicious, and that’s why we have allocated a lot of resources to investigate the case, but it will take some time before we can provide more information and determine whether there is a criminal act involved or not,” says police inspector René Raffo.

As part of the investigation, the police would like to hear from citizens who have seen anything or have information about the case. The police can be contacted by phone at 114.
