Mette Frederiksen met with Joe Biden
The Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, met with the President of the United States, Joe Biden, on Monday.
The meeting took place in The Oval Office at The White House.
They discussed various topics, including NATO and the war in Ukraine, and Biden praised Denmark for its support to Ukraine. Joe Biden, sticking to his prepared remarks, noted that this day is Danish Constitution Day and emphasized that the United States and Denmark share many common beliefs, including democracy.
They also talked about their shared work to bolster economic prosperity, increase energy security, and address the impacts of climate change.
