
71-year-old rescued from drowning accident
Police and rescue personnel were dispatched to Bellevue Beach Sunday afternoon following a report of a drowning accident.
The report came in shortly before 5:30 p.m.
A 71-year-old man had been found unconscious in the water. Beachgoers and lifeguards initiated life-saving first aid. They managed to restore both pulse and breathing, and the 71-year-old was transported to the hospital in an ambulance along with his wife.
Bellevue Beach, often simply referred to as Bellevue, is a beach at Klampenborg on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen.
